Commerce minister Anand Sharma would go on a two-day visit to Malaysia by the year-end in a bid to stitch a trade pact with the Southeast Asian country. During his stay, Sharma would meet the Malaysian trade minister Datuk Mustapa Mohamed, transport minister Datuk Sri Kong Cho and the foreign affairs minister Dato' Sri Anifah Aman. He is also expected to meet the Prime Minister of Malaysia. The minister is slated to address a business conference, going to be organised by India-Malaysia Business Council. The trade between the two countries stood at $ 10.60 billion in 2008-09.
