New Delhi, July 6 (PTI) Indian eves went down fighting against Singapore in the 7th Asian Youth Netball Championship at the Thyagaraj Stadium here today. The host team lost 40-59 (11-13, 8-15, 9-13, 12-18) in the opening game on day 4 to take their tally to two wins and as many loses in the four matches they have played so far. India coach Mary Mercia Lourdes Jayasekera said lack of experience was the reason behind their defeat. "The team was a bit tense, but played a good game. The team did not know to captivate the turnover. The Singapore team accelerates we do not accelerate. The team needs a lot of experience," she said. Indian captain Prachi Tehlan also echoed the same sentiment. "We are improving in every game but still too many mistakes. Malaysia plays a very good zone defence," she said. PTI AT ATK.
