`Tortoise` Button can outdo `Hare` Hamilton, predicts Hill

London, Jul 6 (ANI); Britain's former champion Damon Hill has backed Jenson Button's measured driving style to outdo Lewis Hamilton's at this year's Formula One championship."They have two totally different approaches. You've got a Senna-esque driver and a Prost-like driver. It is a bit like the tortoise and the hare," Hill said."Jenson's strength is that he is always there in with a shout. He can take risks when he needs to, as he showed when he needed to win the championship last year. But Lewis seems to be at his maximum the whole time, which means that there will be a hiccup somewhere," The Telegraph quoted him, as saying. So far this season, Hamilton's driving style has not resulted in any major rule violations, but as they head into Sunday's British Grand Prix, the two McLaren drivers are separated by just six points at the top of the championship."Silverstone, smack in the middle of the summer, is traditionally the point where the preliminaries are over and from now on the clock is definitely ticking," Hill said."If it goes to the last race of the season and the championship is still open, it will be game on and hard-fought - bitterly fought, even - on the track."The two British drivers are possibly in the best car, and they are going to have a very close and fascinating battle. The whole thing has been on simmer, but now it is going to start boiling over," he said.Asked which of the two Britons he would have been more worried about facing, Hill said: "I think Jenson has perhaps got the slightly more relaxed attitude. He will absorb more as a competitor and perhaps maintain his equilibrium better than Lewis." (ANI)
