Mumbai, July 6 (PTI) Prices of castorseed bold and castoroil commercial firmed up at the oils and oilseeds market here today on sustained demand from shippers and soap industries. Castorseed futures also rose on persistent export orders. Meanwhile, groundnutoil, refined palmolein and linseed oil were stable on lack of buying activity. In the non-edible section, castorseed bold gained Rs 20 per 100 kg to Rs 3,555 from last weekend level of Rs 3,535 and castoroil commercial moved up by Rs 4 per 10 kg to Rs 741 as against Rs 737 previously. Linseed oil closed unchanged at Rs 495 per 10 kg. Turning to the futures section, castorseed''s August contract resumed higher at Rs 3,540, and strengthened further to Rs 3,585 before closing at Rs 3,566 as against last Saturday''s closing level of Rs 3,532, showing a gain of Rs 34 per tonne. Moving to the edible section, groundnut oil and refined palmolein both remained steady at Rs 775 and Rs 403, respectively.
