Mumbai, July 6 (PTI) Select base metals moved up at the non-ferrous metal market here today on modest industrial demand on the back of a positive trend in the London Metal Exchange (LME). Nickel and tin prices declined on reduced offtake from consumer industries. Brass sheet cutting rose by Rs 4 per kilo to Rs 264 from last Saturday''s closing level of Rs 260. Copper cable scrap and copper wire bar both moved up by Rs 3 per kilo each to Rs 364 and Rs 392. Copper armiture, copper utensils scrap and brass utensils scrap all edged up by Rs 2 per kilo each to Rs 353, Rs 338 and Rs 255. Copper scrap heavy, copper sheet cutting and lead inched up by a rupee per kilo each to Rs 358, Rs 349 and Rs 105, respectively. However, nickel and tin both dropped by Rs 5 per kilo each to Rs 1,065 and Rs 940 as against Rs 1,070 and Rs 945 previously.
