Surat, Jul 6 (PTI) Forty children were injured today when a private school bus fell into a roadside canal near Vesu village here, police said. The incident took place this morning when the bus of Agrawal Vidhya Vihar was negotiating a curve on its way to school, they said. The students, who suffered minor bruises were released after being administered first aid, they said. The driver, against whom a complaint has been lodged, is absconding since the mishap, police said. The bus was later pulled out from the canal using a crane.
