Rourkela (Orissa), Jul 6 (PTI) Two persons were today awarded rigorous life imprisonment by a local court for killing four minor girls in 2004 after raping them. Additional District Judge, Deogarh, Gobinda Chandra Panigrahi found Dasaratha Chanchana (40) and Shyam Mahanandi (45) of Rangamatia village guilty of killing the children aged between five and ten years. The duo had raped the girls before killing them and later dumped their bodies into a pond. The judge also imposed a fine of Rs 25,000 on each. PTI SCP MD.
