Patna, Jul 7 (PTI) The Centre today said it is working on a comprehensive plan to contain Maoist attacks on railway properties. "A comprehensive plan will be undertaken in consultation with the state governments to protect the railways, which the Maoists hold as soft-target," Union Minister of State for Railways K H Muniyappa told reporters here. On inordinate delay in implementation of various rail projects in Bihar, he said the state government should come forward for cost-sharing of the delayed projects. The Railways have planned to spend Rs 790 crore for laying 86 km new rail line, broad gauge conversion in 28 km and doubling of rail line on 72 km during the current fiscal under the East Central Railway, the minister said.
