CSE index jumps 33 points

Kolkata, July 8 (PTI) The Calcutta Stock Exchange (CSE) today gained on buying support from the investors. It rose 33.44 points during the day to close at 7069.34. The benchmark index CSE-4O had inched higher by 10 points in the previous trading session. The index opened at 7035.90 and during the day touched a high of 7076.20 before closing at 7069.34. A total of 16 scrips were traded and the turnover was down at Rs 6.64 crore. Bolton Properties was at Rs 390.60, while BHEL was at Rs 2,384.40 at end of the trading session. Reliance Industries gained to Rs 1,064.50 while SBI was higher at Rs 2,354. Steel Authority was up by Rs 2 to close at Rs 192.70 and Tata Steel gained to Rs 485. Tata Motors slipped to Rs 761.95 and Twenty-First Century closed at Rs 310.80 PTI BSM NN.
