Sirsa(Har), July 7 (PTI) A family today allegedly consumed poison, resulting in the death of five of them while one was admitted to a hospital in a serious condition, police said. Kallo Ram, his wife Moorti Devi, son Sunil (10), daughter Sunita (11) and two other kids were found in a serious condition by a neighbour who rushed them to Dabwali Civil Hospital. While five of them died in the hospital, Ram''s condition is stated to be critical, they said. Police said they are yet to ascertain the reason that prompted the family to take the extreme step. A case for an attempt to suicide under Section 309 was charged against them, they said, adding further investigation is on.
