Srinagar, Jun 24 (PTI) Ahead of the meeting of Home Ministers of India and Pakistan, the hardline Hurriyat faction led by Syed Ali Shah Geelani today threatened a prolonged agitation if security forces do not stop their alleged "oppressive" actions. "We are giving the government of India time till July 3 to stop such oppressive measures, otherwise people of the state will come on the roads in a planned manner for prolonged agitation," senior Hurriyat leader Masrat Alam Bhat told reporters here. Asked about reports that the Home Ministry is in favour of rejection of the mercy plea of Parliament attack convict Afzal Guru, Bhat said if he was executed, there will be a serious fallout in Jammu and Kashmir.
