India set Sri Lanka 269 to win Asia Cup

Dambulla, June 24 (IANS) India, batting first, set Sri Lanka a modest target of 269 to win the Asia Cup final here Thursday.India scored 268 for six in 50 overs after winning the toss, with opener Dinesh Karthik top-scoring with 66 and useful contributions down the order. Virat Khohli (28), Rohit Sharma (41), Mahendra Singh Dhoni (38), Suresh Raina (29) and Ravindra Jadeja (25 not out) propped up the total.Lasith Malinga and Thilina Kandamby claimed two wickets each.
