Navjyoti initiative by Kiran Bedi for MBAs takes off

Kiran Bedi, India's first and highest ranked woman IPS officer would be visiting Aryans campus next week to interview the candidates for the selection of needy and deserving in MBA and BBA course (11 seats each).The selected students would get paid for their entire education including tuition fees, expenses on uniforms, books etc. Christened as "Navjyoti- A Kiran Bedi Initiative", a replicable project, has been launched from Chandigarh in association with Aryans Group of Colleges (AGC). The initiative comes on the heels of Punjab's Super 30 programme launched recently by Vidyapeeth, a technical college providing engineering programmes. Under this, 30 students from poor families are to be given free coaching for two years to crack IIT/JEE entrance examination.A memorandum of understanding (MoU) was earlier signed between Kiran Bedi and Anshu Kataria, chairman, Aryans Group of Colleges in Chandigarh Press Club. As per the MoU, 11 deserving students for MBA and 11 students for BBA would be selected by Dr.Kiran Bedi and her Navjyoti team. The selected students would get paid for education by the Aryans group.
