NPR journalist Daniel Schorr dies at 93

Veteran journalist Daniel Schorr, a mainstay of National Public Radio for the past 30 years, has died at the age of 93, NPR said on Friday.Schorr died peacefully on Friday morning surrounded by his family after what NPR described in a statement as a short illness.Schorr was part of Edward R. Murrow's legendary radio and TV team before joining NPR in 1970, covering national politics.He worked for NPR until a few days before his death.
