Mumbai, July 19 -- The Jet Airways co-pilot Varun Agarwal, who had been arrested by the Powai police for allegedly raping an airhostess two months ago, has been summoned for questioning again after the victim filed a fresh complaint against him. She has alleged that 27-year-old Agarwal, who was released on bail a month ago, had been threatening her to withdraw her complaint. Agarwal was arrested on May 29 from the domestic airport for allegedly raping the 22-year-old airhostess on several occasions since May 2009 on the pretext of marrying her. On June 14, the sessions court had granted the co-pilot bail on a surety of Rs 25,000 after observing that his custody was no longer required by the police. According to the Powai police, on Friday the victim approached them and filed a complaint that Agarwal had been threatening her of dire consequences if she did not withdraw her complaint against him.Police officials said that Agarwal was given a notice to be present before the assistant commissioner of police on Monday.
