Vadodara, Jul 7 (PTI) Police today arrested three persons including a builder and his wife on charges of allegedly raping a woman and torturing her daughter, police said. Acting on a complaint filed by Ashok Sindhi''s domestic help Dandiya Bariya (40), alleging that the builder had sexually abused her several times in the past, was arrested along with his wife and a servant by the Pavi Jetpur police, they said. Bariya who was working as a domestic help at Sindhi''s house, in her complaint said that the builder had forcibly confined her teenage daughter Surekha for the last six months, as they (builder) suspected that she (mother) had decamped with valuables from their house, police said. Earlier, Sindhi and his wife were arrested by the Kisanwadi police station on charges of torturing Surekha with cigarette butts, they said. However, the builder''s wife Renuka denied the charges and said that they were being framed.
