New Delhi, Jul 19 (PTI) Congress today sought to downplay the controversial Babhli barrage issue and the arrest of TDP leader Chandrababu Naidu, saying the matter is between two states. "This is between two states - Andhra Pradesh and Maharashtra. It is also sub-judice.It is not appropriate on our part to comment on the issue," party spokesman Shakeel Ahmed told reporters here. The party wants both states to maintain calm and not aggravate the situation, he said. The TDP chief and 74 partymen were arrested on July 16 night by Maharashtra Police at border area Dharmabad during the protest over an irrigation project in Babhli. They were remanded to two days judicial custody that ended today after they refused to take bail and insisted on visiting the project site.
