Kozhikode, Jul 13 (PTI) Police today conducted extensive raids at several places in North Malabar area including at the state headquarters of Popular Front of India (PFI) here, in the wake of seizure of a huge cache of explosives from Kannur yesterday. The raid at the PFI headquarters lasted nearly three hours and some CDs and pamphlets were seized, police sources said. Simultaneous raids were also conducted at 25 other places here, they said. In Kannur, about 16 country-made bombs were recovered from Irutty and a sword was recovered from Payyannoor, police said. Raids were also conducted in Kasargod district, they said. Meanwhile, PFI state president Nazaruddin Elamaram, talking to reporters here, alleged there is a ''conspiracy'' in the raids conducted on the premises of the organisation. PTI TKK RC.
